Lola Sansone (Frederick)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lola Sansone, 81, of Severn, Maryland on Sunday, May 12, 2024.  She passed peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loved ones.

Lola is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Marcus Sansone Sr., and their 3 children, Marcus Sansone Jr., Anthony (Heather) Sansone, and Carrie (John) Olson. 

Lola had 6 loving grandchildren-  Darian Weatherly, A.J. Sansone, Jewel Olson, Jade (Justin) Showalter, Haleigh Sansone and Liam Sansone. 

She also had one precious great grandchild, Finley.

Lola is survived by one dear sister, Lorraine (James) Lang, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents James Linwood Frederick and Ruth Frederick and her sister Linda  Gardner. 

Lola loved the Lord with all of her heart.  She and Marcus attended Granite Baptist Church for over 50 years.  She loved spending time with her family and her extended church family and friends, reading books, and vacations to the Beach.

Guests may visit Stallings Funeral Home, located at 3111 Mountain Road in Pasadena, Maryland. Viewings will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral service will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Granite Baptist Church, located at 7823 Oakwood Road, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.   

Lola will be laid to rest at Crownsville Veteran’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in loving memory of Lola.
