Lisa Merenda

On Monday, October 23rd, Lisa Marie Merenda, a beloved Mother, Daughter, and Sister, passed away peacefully due to a fall. She was preceded in death by the love her life, James Alan Carter, III. She was only 48 years old. Born to Phyllis and Paul Merenda. Lisa graduated from Northeast High School and studied at Anne Arundel Community College. She was in the work force early in her life until several illnesses befell her. 

Her surviving relatives are her Grandmother, Phyllis Marie Sawyer, Mother Phyllis Marie Merenda (Terry), Son James Alan Carter, IV (Grace), Sister Phyllis Marie Quillet (Les), Uncle John Christian Sawyer, Jr. She is also survived by many cousins and other family members. 

She met James Alan Carter, III, and they had a son, James Alan Carter, IV. They lived on the Eastern Shore for a time until moving back to Pasadena. 

Lisa loved her music, going to concerts, and dancing. She loved taking care of her flowers, and seeing how her friends were doing from school. She had such a caring loving, beautiful heart and always wanted to help family and friends, even with her own health struggles. She was with her grandmother and uncle at the time, and they would watch mystery, game shows and just be together.
