It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Lisa Ann Carter, who departed this world on Monday, June 29th, 2026, at her home in Hanover, Maryland. Lisa was born on Friday, September 3rd, 1982, in the vibrant city of Tampa, Florida.

Lisa was a dedicated nurse who devoted her career to helping others. Her gentle touch and caring heart were evident through her work at various esteemed facilities, including Ush Nursing Home, Lorien Nursing and Rehabilitation, Oak Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation, and Beacon Shore's Nursing and Rehabilitation in Virginia Beach. Her tireless work ethic was an inspiration to all who knew her, juggling two full-time jobs while pursuing her education and raising her remarkable children.

She is lovingly remembered and survived by her dear husband, Robert Henri Carter III, of Hanover, MD; her children: Bradley Harrison (Laura), Kaleef Carter, and Melissa Lucero-Herra; her mother; Betty Harrison; her siblings: Brenda Jenkins, and Sonia Evans (Michael); and her cherished grandchildren: Emberlynn and Cyrus Harrison. She was preceded in death by her father, Milford Harrison III.

Lisa’s interests and hobbies were as diverse and colorful as her personality. Known for her bubbly and often sarcastic demeanor, she found joy in crafting, swimming, and staying active. Lisa was a formidable pool player and a car enthusiast who loved to drive and race, embodying the spirit of fast and furious. Her love for automobiles was only matched by her dedication to family, ensuring quality time was a priority amid her busy schedule.

Always in good spirits, Lisa's laughter and positivity were infectious, making every room brighter when she entered. Her unparalleled passion for living life to the fullest, coupled with her unwavering commitment to her family and career, left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.

The void left by Lisa’s departure is immeasurable, yet the legacy of love, strength, and resilience she leaves behind will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know her. Her memory will be a guiding light for her family and friends.

Friends and family are invited to gather at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122, where a visitation will be held on July 5, 2026 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on the same day starting at 6:00 pm. Interment is private.

Lisa Ann Carter’s life was a testament to love, perseverance, and generosity, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her kind soul rest in eternal peace.
