Linda Mae White, 69, a lifelong resident of Maryland, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Mrs. White was born September 26, 1954 in Baltimore, MD to the late Anthony and Mae Greenfield. She worked as a service administrator. In her free time, she enjoyed going to the casino to play slots, crafting and hosting for special holidays. One of her specialties was putting together the most elaborate Easter egg hunts every year. She also loved putting together big Christmas Eve gatherings. Family was very important to her and before her parents passed away, she and her husband, Paul, would travel to her parent's house to play Pinochle every Saturday. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved to spend time with them as they grew up, playing games, crafting, filling the room with laughter and making memories they’ll treasure for a lifetime. She was described as being "one of a kind" and had no trouble putting people in their place. She was always a straight shooter and called it like she saw it. She will be incredibly missed by her friends and family.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. White is preceded in death by her siblings, Anthony Greenfield, Richard Greenfield and Mary Church. She is survived by her husband of almost 48 years, and the love of her life, Paul White; children Paul L. White (Alaina) and Melissa L. Barnes (Tom); brother, Ronnie Greenfield; grandchildren, Kendal Barnes, Paul White, Cooper Barnes, and Juliette White.
Visiting will be held Thursday, March 28th from 3-5 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm. Interment is private.
