Linda (Figart) Lahti

Linda Lahti, 73, a resident of Pasadena for over 50 years, passed way Sunday, April 18, 2021 in her home. 

Mrs. Lahti was born October 10, 1947 in Johnstown, PA to the late Junior and Rita Figart. She graduated from the Peabody Institution as a Music Teacher and wen't on to work predominately in Anne Arundel County until her retirement in 2002 after 34 years of service. In her earlier years, she was a member of the Teachers Association and the AARSPA Voices in Melody. Passionate about music, Mrs. Lahti enjoyed playing piano. Her other hobbies included antique shopping, collecting magnets, traveling and above all, spending time with family. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lahti is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Gerald "Gerry" Lahti and grandson Zane Lahti. She is survived by her son Davin M. Lahti and his wife Jennifer, daughter Megan L. Knode and her husband Christopher, sister Donna Moore, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. 

Friends may visit on Thursday, April 22nd from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a funeral service will take place at 10:00 am. Interment at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery immediately following the services.
