Leo "Lee" Saffran, Sr. Obituary

Leo "Lee" Saffran, Sr., 76, a 33 year resident of Pasadena, MD, died on January 6, 2021 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Mr. Saffran was born on August 29, 1944 in Maryland to the late Albert and Dorothy Saffran. He served as an Industrial Mechanic with Millennium Chemicals (formerly SCM Chemicals) from 1974 until his retirement in 2001. Outside of work, Lee was a member of Community United Methodist Church and enjoyed participating in re-enactments, collecting historical artifacts, and volunteering as a 4H Leader and Riflery Instructor.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Saffran is preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara L. Saffran and brother, Albert V. Saffran, Jr. He is survived by his sons, Leo Saffran, Jr. and Jason Thompson; daughters, Dawn Smith and Angela Klitch; former wife, Lisa Patrick; sister, Joyce Keilholtz; and 12 grandchildren.

Services and interment are scheduled for Saturday, January 16, 2021. Please check back soon for location and times. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
