Larry Adkins

Larry Ray Adkins, 82 a Pasadena MD resident died on November 8th, 2023 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Larry was born on January 4, 1941 in Rupert West Virginia to the late William Harvey Adkins and Elizabeth Adkins.

He was married to the late Myrna Adkins before she passed in 2009. Larry and Myrna purchased a piece of property in Pasadena MD in 1963, where they built their forever home. He worked as a carpenter for NASA, built houses and loved taking old discarded items and refurbishing them and giving them new life. Larry enjoyed sitting in the back room feeding wood into his homemade boiler system, He also enjoyed watching Perry Mason while drinking coffee and smoking cigars.

Larry is survived by his children Craig Adkins, Wayne Adkins, Brenda White, his niece Ann Warfield whom he helped raise as a child, his grandsons Angelo Preston, Daniel White Jr. and his Granddaughter Sarah Hammond and others.

 Larry will be laid to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Park on November 10, 2023 at 1:30pm.
