Kimberly Martin Obituary

Kimberly Ann Martin, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5th, 2025, in the comfort of her home in Pasadena, Maryland. Born on December 11, 1968, in Baltimore, Maryland, Kimberly touched many lives with her warm heart and generous spirit.

Kimberly made her career as an Accounts Payable Clerk and was known for her impeccable dedication to her work. Beyond her professional life, she was known for her passions and interests, which truly defined the essence of who she was. An enthusiastic cook and an avid reader, Kimberly derived the most joy from spending quality time with her beloved family as well as her close friends. She cherished every moment with her son, nieces and nephews, and delighted in planning girls' trips to the beach with her friends and family.

Never one to put herself first, Kimberly's greatest satisfaction came from making others happy. Her caring and selfless demeanor left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Whether it was shopping trips with her husband Larry or familial gatherings, Kimberly treasured these opportunities to bring happiness and laughter into the lives of her loved ones. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and son, often times taking day trips to her favorite spots or going out to dinner.

Kimberly’s enduring legacy is carried on by her devoted husband, Larry Martin; her cherished son, Andrew Martin; her beloved mother, Patricia Prentiss; her loving siblings, Diana Burnett and her husband Michael and Keith Prentiss; her sister-in-law, Dotti Prietz and her husband Fred; as well as her nieces, Jamie Smith and Jessica Burnett; and her nephews, Kyle Smith, Sean Burnett, Brian Burton, and Ryan Burton. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her great-nephew, Cooper, and great-niece, Harper. Kimberly was also dearly loved by her mother-in-law, Charlotte Trott.

She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Prentiss, whose memory she held dear throughout her life.

A visitation will be held, Friday, July 18th from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a celebration of life will be held at 8:00 pm. Interment private.
