Kathryn Latona

Kathryn Marie Latona, 69, as a U.S. Navy veteran had travelled the world but was a resident of Pasadena Maryland for 29 years and died on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Autumn Lake Healthcare in Waugh Chapel.

Kathy was born on Friday, October 16, 1953, in Santa Cruz, California to the late Ted and Billie McFalls. She served honorably in the US Navy for 23 years as an Aerographer's Mate until her retirement.  She was a member of the Saint Jane Frances Catholic Church and a member of the Quilt Guild. Her hobbies included quilting, listening to music and caring for children. She was an incredibly kind, compassionate, and generous person. 

Kathy is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Latona and her sisters Pat Rogers and Kris Stinnett. She is survived by her daughters Heather Boerema (Matthew), Holly Miller (Eric), and Heidi Butler (Christopher); 5 grandchildren, Dakotah, Madelyn, Andrew, Isabella, and Emily; and all of her "adoptive" grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 10:00 am at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, MD. 21122. Interment private.
