Julie Gugerty Obituary

Julie Lynne Gugerty, 66, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. 

Julie was born May 12, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Archer and Barbara Hilditch. She worked as a Health Room Assistant for Anne Arundel County Public Schools and had just earned recognition for her 20th year in service. In her free time, Julie enjoyed taking various road trips, particularly the "Amish Country". She was a woman of various interests, to which included, buggy hunting, antiquing, going to craft shows, gardening and reading. She was a fabulous cook and was known for her famous "Pretzel Salad" which everyone enjoyed. She was a kind and giving person who was a lot of fun to be around. She was a fantastic wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin and friend who will be missed immensely by all. 

In addition to her parents, Julie is preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Hilditch. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Mark Gugerty; children, Megan Gugerty and her husband Korey Noe and Nicholas Gugerty; sister, Diane Hilditch and her husband Rich Knox; niece and nephew, Bennett Knox and Emily Knox.  

Friends and family may visit Saturday, August 31st from 3-7 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 1st at Harewood Park Community Center, 12940 Community Road, Middle River, MD 21220 at 2:00 pm. Family is requesting guests come in casual attire.
