Joseph "Joel" Robert Passon

Joseph "Joel" Robert Passon, 85, a resident of Pasadena and formerly of Lansdowne, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. 

Mr. Passon was born November 2, 1935 in Hazleton, PA to the late Joseph and Marie Passon. He worked as a Manager in at J.P. Food Services until his retirement in the late 1990's. In his youth, Mr. Passon enjoyed playing baseball and other sports. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and crabbing. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Passon is preceded in death by his son Michael Passon, and brothers Robert Passon, Jerome Passon, David Passon and Wayne Passon. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary E. Passon, son Gregory Passon, step-son, Frederick Arata, step-daughters Margaret Hasty, Theresa Wood, Mary Arata, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. 

Friends may call Thursday, September 23rd from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a service will be held at 8:00 pm. Interment is private. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
