Joseph Pleyo Obituary

Joseph Patrick Pleyo, 64, a 3 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Crownsville, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Mr. Pleyo was born November 30, 1955 in Fort Meade, MD to the late Anthony and Blanche Pleyo. In his early years, Mr. Pleyo volunteered as a Fireman for Odenton. He was passionate about fire fighting and served his community for 10 years. He then worked for the Howard County Government as a Mechanic Maintenance Worker. Mr. Pleyo was a dedicated member to St. Jane Frances De Chantal Catholic Church. His favorite hobby was watching Wrestling.

Mr. Pleyo is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Janet A. Pleyo, children Monica Pleyo, Paul Pleyo (Alissa), Marie Dash (Ricky), siblings Patrick Pleyo (Donna), Eugene Pleyo (Janice), Rose Ogle (Robert), Robert Pleyo (Teriesa), grandchildren Charlotte, Lexi, Sean, William, Sadie, Sophie and Paul.

In response to these recent developments, the Pleyo family has also chosen to keep the funeral service private in order to protect the health of family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Please check back for details.
