It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joseph Leroy Pinkcett, who departed this life on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on Monday, June 29th, 1970, in Charlestown, West Virginia, Joseph spent the last two decades as a cherished resident of Hanover, Maryland.
Joseph was a beloved husband, father, son, and brother. He is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, Antoinette K. Pinkcett, and his loving children: Joseph L. Pinkcett, Timothy Pinkcett, and Jalon S. Pinkcett. His memory will also be treasured by his mother, Agnes Yvonne Pinkcett, his siblings: Russell McDonald, Yolanda Pinkcett, Hazel Pinkcett, Eric Pinkcett, and Dominic Johnson, and his adored grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Ashton Pinkcett.
A graduate of Meade Senior High School in the late 1980s, Joseph dedicated 17 years of his professional life as a driver for Stericycle Medical Waste. Known for his vivacious spirit and infectious laughter, he touched the lives of many. Joseph had a passion for fishing and was a dedicated 49ers football fan, often spending weekends indulging in his favorite sport.
Services to honor Joseph's life will be held at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, January 30th, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place immediately following services at Holy Cross Cemetery.
