It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Joseph Michael Brady Sr., beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who passed away peacefully on Friday, December 5th, 2025, in Glen Burnie, Maryland, at the age of 90. Born in Baltimore City, Maryland, on May 22nd, 1935, Joseph was a proud son of the late Joseph Guy Brady and Stella Brady.
A spirited and dedicated Marine, Joseph served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, later he dedicated himself to serving his community as a respected Police Officer with the Maryland State Police. His commitment and dedication to public service were an inspiration to those who knew him.
Joseph shared 64 beautiful years of marriage with his late wife, Mary Rose Brady, with whom he built a strong and loving family. He is survived by his devoted children: Joseph Brady Jr. and his wife Kristina, and Patricia Middleton and her husband Andrew. His legacy also lives on in his cherished grandchildren: Jessica Smith, Kristen Weinstein (and husband Eli), James Middleton II (and wife Amber), Ryan Middleton, Brittany Sabie, Angelena Middleton, Chelsey Sullivan (and husband Shaquan), Shelby Beckwith (and husband Tyler), Stella Brady, Samuel Brady, and Solomon Brady. His profound impact extends to his great-grandchildren: Dominic Pitts, Zoe Weinstein, Brady Smith, Lena Smith, Aiden Middleton, Ella Middleton, Ava Middleton, Lyric Middleton, Summer Tesar, Gavyn Mann, Gunner Mann, Qi'ra Weinstein, Aayla Weinstein, and Sean Sullivan.
Joseph found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially watching sports on television, including his favorite pastimes, baseball and football. His passion for sports began in his youth when he actively played, creating lasting memories and friendships.
Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Joseph are invited to a visitation on Thursday, December 11th, 2025, at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12th, 2025, at 11:00 am at the same location. Interment Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
