Joseph Fleishell Obituary

Joseph W. Fleishell, 87, a lifelong resident of the Glen Burnie/Pasadena area of Maryland, died on January 24, 2021 at Harbor Hospital.

Mr. Fleishell was born on May 10, 1933 to the late Harry and Jessie Fleishell and was one of six sons. He served honorably in the United States Navy before beginning a lifelong career in the construction industry where he worked for Fleishell Home Improvements and later named Apex Construction Company. He started his own business, Fleishell Construction Company, which he operated for over 30 years. Outside of work, Joseph enjoyed building, woodworking, and playing cards.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fleishell is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Fleishell, and son-in-law, Dave Taylor. He is survived by his sons, Joseph Jr. (Susan), David (Bernetta), and Gary (Colleen); Betty Taylor; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Funeral services and interment are private.
