John 'Jack' L. Zarr

John 'Jack' L. Zarr, 83, a 36 year resident of Glen Burnie, MD, died on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at his residence.

He was born on Sunday, June 30th, 1940 in Muncy, PA. Mr. Zarr owned several businesses during his lifetime:tailor shop, diner, junk yard, managing rental properties and lastly a home improvement business. He was a past member of the Glen Burnie Moose and the Odd Fellows . His favorite past time was talking, followed by casino gambling, billiards, magic tricks and improving his home. And showing his home to anyone who walked past it. He never sat still. He enjoyed life.

Mr. Zarr is preceded in death by his parents Donald Leroy Zarr, Father and Esther Jean Fritts; his step sister Peggy Fritts and his step-brother James Fritts.

He is survived by his wife who he has been with him since 1986 and whom he made legal in 1999, Arlene H. Zarr; his step-brothers John Fritts and Joseph Fritts; and his step-sister Patty Cheshire.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at Stallings Funeral Home Pasadena, Maryland from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm where funeral services will take place that same evening at 6:00 pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society HERE.
