John Lee Riley, 73, passed away peacefully in his home on June 16, 2022 surrounded by his family and loved ones.
He was born on May 16, 1949 in Ann Arbor Michigan. He served honorably in the US Army entering in 1969 then Mr. Riley began working for Westinghouse in February 1971 retiring after 34 years of service. After his retirement from Westinghouse he began working as a consultant for NSA. He married Linda in September of 1971. John and Linda lived in Glen Burnie, Maryland throughout their 50 years of marriage. They welcomed 2 sons into their lives.
Mr. Riley loved cars, he worked on them his whole life. He and his wife were members of the car club Lost in the 50's since 1994. He was an avid poker player and enjoyed his poker group on Wednesdays for decades
In addition to his mother Bridgeen Cooch (nee Suarez) Mr. Riley is preceded in death by 2 brothers.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Linda Riley, his sons John Riley, Jr. of Glen Burnie and Shaun Riley of Glen Burnie, 3 grandchildren and 1 niece.
Friends may visit on Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A. where funeral services will begin at 3:00 PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation of your choice.
