John Thomas Cook IV, 31, a lifelong resident of the Anne Arundel County, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
Mr. Cook was born July 19, 1989 in Baltimore, MD to his parents John Thomas Cook, III and Maria Smith. He graduated in 2007 from Mt. Saint Joseph High School. After graduation, Mr. Cook enlisted in the Military where he served honorably in the US Marines in the mid 2000's. Presently, he was attending Anne Arundel Community College where he was working to finish his degree in Behavioral Health. Mr. Cook was currently working at the Maryland House Detox in Linthicum Heights, MD as a behavioral health technician. In his spare time, Mr. Cook enjoyed watching baseball. His favorite team was the Orioles. He also enjoyed a good game of Chess. Above all, Mr. Cook was an amazing father to his 2 children. He loved being a dad and could be described as a real family man.
Mr. Cook is survived by his wife of 3 years, Danielle D. Cook, father John Thomas Cook, III of Florida, mother Maria Smith of Berlin, MD, son Caden M. Cook, daughter Zoey J. Cook, brother Edward J. Cook of Berlin, MD, brother-in-law Travis M. Nardella of Phillipsburg, NJ, mother-in-law Judith P. Nardella of Phillipsburg, NJ, maternal grandmother Larue Smith, paternal grandfather John Cook, Jr., paternal grandmother Debra Cook and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call Saturday, April 24th from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where services will take place Sunday, April 25th at 11:00 am. Interment is private.
