Johanna Elizabeth Broussard

Johanna Elizabeth Broussard of Millersville, Maryland, beloved wife of John Broussard, devoted mother of Shelley Dowling and Wendy Broussard, and endearing grandmother to Samuel, Jackson and Emma found eternal peace at the age of 72 on December 25, 2022.

Johanna was born in 1950, the youngest child of John and Anna Vinson. Johanna was an extremely devoted and loving daughter. She was always looking after her parents and ensured they were taken care of for the entirety of their lives.

Johanna and John married on November 8, 1969. Their marriage of 54 years was full of adventure, laughter, music, and motors. She loved him fiercely. She was a dedicated mother wanting only the very best in life for her children and moved mountains to make that happen.

Johanna was an active volunteer throughout the years in her church, Vintage Tin car club, and various activities with her daughters. She enjoyed tending to her azalea garden, taking rides in the roadster, and spending time with her family. She retired from the Maryland State Police in 2021.

A memorial service will be held for family and friends at Stallings Funeral Home on Monday, January 2nd from 3 pm to 5 pm to celebrate the joy that Johanna brought to our lives.
