Joe Ann Cunningham Obituary

Joe Ann Cunningham, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at Bayview Medical Center in Balimore. Born on September 8, 1944, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Kowalewski. A lifelong resident of Maryland, Joe Ann dedicated nearly 20 years of her career as a Bank Teller at the Bank of Glen Burnie, where her friendly demeanor and welcoming spirit touched the lives of many.

Joe Ann was known for her love of shopping, BINGO, and playing the slots. She had a passion for cooking and delighted in preparing meals for family and friends, often gathering loved ones around her table to share in her culinary creations. Her fun-loving nature and generous heart made her a cherished presence in the lives of those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Raymond Cunningham, one sister, and her beloved granddaughter, Courtney. Joe Ann is survived by her son, Brian Cunningham and his wife Jennifer Mays, her daughter Kimberly Pine and her husband Mike, and six adoring grandchildren who will carry on her legacy of love.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Please check back for details as we honor the memory of this remarkable woman.
