Jill L. Klinger, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, MD, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025. Born in Annapolis, Maryland, on April 26, 1957, Jill was a cherished member of her community and was known for her dedication, warmth, and unwavering loyalty.
Jill graduated from North East High School in 1975 and continued her education at Anne Arundel Community College. She then cultivated a distinguished 20-year career in law enforcement, serving as a dedicated Detective. Her colleagues remember her as a steadfast protector and advocate for justice, leaving a significant impact that resonates within her community.
An avid sports enthusiast, Jill could often be found cheering on her beloved teams, particularly her favorites on the football field. Her passion for sports was rivaled only by her love for her Scotty terrier dogs, who were her constant companions and brought immense joy to her life.
Jill was an active member of the Anne Arundel County FOP Lodge # 70 and the Ravens Nest, where she formed lifelong friendships and contributed greatly to many community initiatives.
She is survived by her brothers Jeffrey Klinger and David Klinger, with his wife Katherine. Her memory is lovingly cherished by her nephew Joseph Klinger and nieces Julie Sullivan, Rebecca Campbell, Melissa Klinger, and Allison Klinger, along with eleven great-nieces and nephews who adored her dearly.
Jill was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Loraine Klinger. Although she will be profoundly missed, her legacy of kindness and service will continue to inspire all who knew her.
In honor of Jill's life and her courageous spirit, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Per her wishes, services and interment will be private.
Jill L. Klinger will be remembered for her compassion, diligence, and the love she shared with those around her. May her memory be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
