Jessie Kress

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jessie Kress, a beloved mother, grandmother, sibling, and friend. Jessie peacefully departed this life on Friday, September 19th, 2025, at the age of 59, in her hometown of Pasadena, Maryland.

Jessie was born on Friday, April 15th, 1966, in Baltimore, Maryland, where she spent the early years of her life. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of many throughout her lifetime.

A dedicated and hardworking individual, Jessie was employed in clerical services, where she was known for her professionalism, diligence, and attention to detail. Beyond her work, Jessie was devoted to her family, cherishing each moment spent with her loved ones.

Jessie's memory will be lovingly cherished by her daughter, Cassie Johnson, and her son, Tyler Kress. She will be dearly missed by her sister, Melissa Stein. Jessie also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Cailyn Johnson, Camdyn Johnson, Karson Kress, Tyler Kress,  and Cole Howell who will forever hold her legacy dear in their hearts.  She is preceded in death by her brother Michael Stein.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service honoring Jessie’s life, which will be held at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122, on Friday, September 26th, 2025, at 6:00 pm.  

Jessie’s kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will be remembered always by all who knew her.
