The family of Jerry Wayne Carpenter, born on January 10,1955 in Baltimore Maryland, would like to share that he passed peacefully of natural causes in his home in Pasadena on September 7, 2025. He was 70 years old.
Jerry, known by many across the community for his hard work and dedication to his lifelong career, as the owner of C&C Earth Movers Inc., which he ran for more than four decades. Jerry had a knack for being able to operate any piece of equipment as no job was too big or small. Whenever a friend needed any kind of help, Jerry would lend a hand. Jerry had a particular love of motorcycles, camping, sci-fi movies, fried chicken, and his all-time favorite singer, Elvis Presley. You always knew where you could find him in the morning, 3B’s with his buddies. One of his favorite things to do was cooking Sunday breakfast for his family. He loved the weekends when the kids were away, and he could spend time going on long drives with his loving wife Jeannie. He loved his children and grandchildren more than anything, there was nothing he wouldn’t do for any of them. His family was the joy of his life. Jerry’s life was full of love and laughter, and we will all carry and cherish the incredible memories that were made. I'll leave you with one last thing “Is that Right”....
Jerry is survived and incredibly missed by his loving wife, Jeannie, together for fifty-three years and married for forty-seven years; his children Niki Laumann (Dean), Chrissy Carpenter, Amy Carpenter, and Jerry W. Carpenter Jr (Kirk). Jerry is also cherished and remembered by his eight grandchildren, Seth, Dean, Connor, Lexi, Savannah, Kylee, Genevive, and Lilly, as well as his great-grandson Brantley.
His memory will also carry on through his brother Dale Clarke (Sandra), and sister Nancy Jarrell, and brother Eddie Carpenter. He is preceded in death by his mother Rose Leeson, brother Tommy Clarke, and brother-in-law Robert Jarrell.
A viewing for Jerry will take place at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, September 11th followed by a memorial service at 12 p.m. Friday, September 12, 2025.
The Carpenter family would like to thank everyone who is reaching out for their kind thoughts and words during this trying time.
