Janet Neff

Janet Neff, a cherished lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the age of 90. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, on Wednesday, December 18, 1935, Janet grew up in a loving family and went on to become an integral part of her community in Pasadena, MD.

Janet was the beloved wife of Robert Neff, with whom she shared a beautiful life filled with love and companionship. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Karen Leidig, and her husband James, Sr. Her family was the center of her world, and her legacy continues through her grandchildren: James Leidig, Jr. and his wife Mia, Andrew Leidig and his wife Alex, and Hannah Leidig, as well as her treasured great-grandchildren, Lillian Leidig and Cora Leidig. Janet is also survived by her dear brother, Charles Allen, and was a cherished aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Virginia Allen, as well as her siblings, Ronald Allen and Virginia Jordan.

A graduate of Glen Burnie High School, Janet went on to dedicate 41 years of her career as a Senior Lab Technician at SCM Chemicals. Her work ethic and dedication were admired by colleagues and friends, and her contributions to the field left a lasting impact.

Janet's warmth, kindness, and bright spirit touched the lives of many. She will be remembered for her generosity, her ability to find joy in the simple pleasures of life, and her unfaltering love for her family.

To honor Janet's life, a celebration will be held at a later date, where friends and family will gather to share memories and celebrate the impact she had on all who knew her.

Janet will be dearly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of her loved ones.
