Janet Lynn (Owens) Brown

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Janet Lynn Brown, a beloved wife, sister, and friend, who left us on Monday, June 29th, 2026, at the age of 68. Janet was born on Thursday, May 22nd, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland, and resided in Pasadena, MD, where she spent her life bringing joy and laughter to all who knew her.

She was the cherished wife of James Edward Brown, with whom she shared a life full of love and adventure in Pasadena, MD.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents, James Owens and Frances and 2 siblings. She leaves behind her devoted husband and his 2 sons, Matthew and Adam, her brother, James Owens, sister-in-laws, Karen and Patricia, who will continue to honor her legacy and cherish her memory.

An entrepreneur at heart, Janet was the proud owner of "Janet's Place," a bar that quickly became a cornerstone of camaraderie and community. Later in life, she embraced a new journey as a bus driver for Fay's Bus Service, where she was known for her professionalism and cheerful demeanor.

Janet had a zest for life that was evident in her fondness for camping and her enthusiasm for shopping trips that often turned into fun-filled adventures. Her strong will and determination were apparent in all she did, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.

Honoring Janet’s wishes, her services and interment will remain private, allowing those closest to her to celebrate her life in a personal and heartfelt manner.

 Janet Lynn Brown will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts and memories of those she touched.
