Janet Armano Obituary

Janet Armano, 82, a resident of Severna Park, Maryland, died on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

She was born on Monday, April 29th, 1940 in Maryland to the late Willard Middleton and Ethel Middleton. Mrs. Armano helped her husband run his company, Armano Construction for many, many years until her husband's passing and then she worked for Bob Baker's Heating and Air Conditioning.  Janet was an adventurous person and loved fast cars and boats.  In her free time she enjoyed going antiquing with her family, visiting the beach and collecting sharks teeth and seashells.  She started sewing in school home economics and mastered the craft on her own. She sewed her sister, Diane's, maternity shirts and prom dress. She also sewed all of her children's clothes and made all of the grandkids Humpty Dumpty dolls. She was very artistic and loved doing Macrame. A dedicated wife, Janet helped her husband run his business. She could do anything from fixing light fixtures to drawing up plans for construction to accounting. There was nothing she couldn't do.  She loved flowers, gardening and getting together with family, family meant so much to her. She was a fabulous cook and was best known for her Spaghetti.
