Jane Ann Kinsey, 72, a lifelong resident of Maryland, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 in her home.
Mrs. Kinsey was born November 8, 1951 in Baltimore, MD to the late Leonard and Gloma Baumgardner. She worked as a School and Coach bus driver until her retirement after 40 years of service. She was a dedicated member of Life Connection Church. In her free time, she enjoyed watching football, online shopping, fishing, bird watching, collecting Boyd’s Bears, and for many years, camping or cabining at Blackwater Falls State Park in West Virginia. She was described as being a patient listener and never offered advice unless you asked. She was the most non-judgmental person who was loving, caring, prayerful and faithful. She was a mother all around, even to people who were not her children. Above all, she loved her family dearly.
Mrs. Kinsey is survived by her husband of 52 years, John M. Kinsey; children Matthew Kinsey, Caryn (Kinsey) Thursby and Timothy Kinsey; sister Linda Chitwood; grandchildren Sean Thursby, Abigail Kinsey, Kara Thursby, Emma Kinsey, Madison Grace Kinsey, Alexis Thursby, Jameson Kinsey, Charlotte R. M. Kinsey and Ethan Thursby.
Friends may call Friday, November 24 from 3-5p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a service will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, November 25. Interment will take place at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery on November 30 at 2:30 p.m., as provided by the cemetery operations schedule.
