James Stromberg

On Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, James Gibbons Stromberg Jr of Glen Burnie, MD passed away peacefully.  

Beloved husband of 61 years to Carol Stromberg; loving father of Patricia Gill and her husband Charles, Kimberly Willey and her husband Dorsey, Jennifer Jazwinski, Mary Parker and her husband James, and James “Sam” Stromberg; devoted grandfather of 16 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 26 great-grandchildren; loving uncle to several nieces and nephews.  He is survived by his sister Ellen Barrick.  He is preceded in death by his parents, James Stromberg Sr and Mary A Stromberg, and brother Thomas Stromberg.

Jim was born August 10th, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland and graduated from Catonsville High School in 1961.  An avid sports fan, Jim was an active member of the local little league baseball, serving as both a coach and an umpire for his children and grandchildren.  He loved watching the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens play.  Jim retired from Stroehmann after years of loyal service.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, September 7th, 2024  at Stallings Funeral Home Pasadena, Maryland from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm where funeral services will take place on Saturday, September 7th, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
