James Melvin Keith, Jr., 90, a 22 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Arnold, MD, died at his home on September 21, 2022.
Mr. Keith was born on December 5, 1931 in Baltimore, MD to the late James Sr. and Mildred Keith. He served in the United States Army before beginning a 40 year career as a Machinist with Chesapeake Paperboard. Outside of work, his greatest passion was his family. His wife Jean was truly the love of his life and he faithfully stood by her and helped her through her illness. He also loved spending time with his daughters, especially their regular lunch dates together. He was a friend to many, never judged anyone, and will be remembered for his kind and loving heart.
In his spare time, James was a member of his local Moose Lodge and enjoyed taking Sunday drives, wrestling, and football - especially the Baltimore Ravens (previously the Colts).
In addition to his parents, Mr. Keith is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jean Keith; son, Joseph Allen Keith; and sister, Lola Keith. He is survived by his children, Judy (Chris) Buckmaster, Deborah (Dion) Sugg, Randy (Patti) Smith, Robin (Jerry) Zebron, and Deanna (Cooper) Tarbutton; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Interment will take place on October 21 at 1:00 p.m. at Crownsville Veterans Cemeter.
