James Johnstone Gibb

James Johnstone Gibb, 58, a lifelong resident of Maryland, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024. 

Mr. Gibb was born July 23, 1965 in Bronx, NY to Gordon Gibb and Margaret Caldwell. He was the owner of a very successful construction company,  Gibb and Associates for 35 years. Other than working, Mr. Gibb enjoyed boating and being on the water. He was described as having a distinguished voice and was a "staunch conservative" to which, he made sure everyone knew. When you were in his company, you knew you were going to have a good time and come back with a good story. His motto to live by was, "work hard, play hard". He will be missed. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gibb is survived by his daughter, Jessy Gibb and her husband Ken Butcher; significant other of 9 years, Michelle Gellert; sister, Susan Giska; half sister, Jennifer Tipton and grandson, Dalton Butcher. 

Services and interment are private.
