Jackie "Jack" Ray Bolling, 83, a 65 year resident of Pasadena, MD and formerly of Kentucky, died on November 5, 2021 at the Hospice Center of the Chesapeake.
Mr. Bolling was born on January 23, 1938 in Harlan, KY to the late Lloyd "Charlie" and Llona Bolling. He worked for Kop-Flex, Inc. (formerly Koppers) in Harmans, MD for over 40 years, where he served as the Forge Shop Operator. Outside of work, Jackie enjoyed anything involving the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and growing vegetables in his garden. He took a lot of pride in his vegetables and loved giving them away to friends and family. Above all, he loved his family, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids. Children always brought a smile to his face.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bolling is preceded in death by his son, Ernie Bolling, and siblings, Earl, Daryl, Bill, Buford, and Lydia. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mabel Bolling; sons, Roy, Randy, and Okey Bolling; daughters, Lona Nilsen and Tina Robinson; brother, Henry Bolling; sisters, Vivie Wilder, Bonnie Hughs, Sue Roberts, Floyd Dodie Neteter, and Stella Hines; 15 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Monday, November 8 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, MD 21122 where funeral services will take place on Tuesday, November 9 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Mount Carmel Methodist Church Cemetery in Pasadena.
