Hillen Grason, Sr.

Hillen Grason Sr., 72, died on December 16, 2025, in Arlington, VA.

Hillen was born in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1953 to John Grason and Mildred (Toft) Grason. Hillen was a proud alumnus of Arundel High School class of 1971. He enjoyed his time as a volunteer firefighter. He spent the bulk of his career in the parking industry with Colonial Parking, Landmark Parking, and PMI as a senior operations manager. Though he loved his job and playing golf, his favorite role was being a grandparent. He treasured his time with his three grandchildren and loved being Pop-pop. He was also an active member of Spry Church in York, PA, where he was currently serving on the budget committee. He was also a member of Nichols Bethel Church in Odenton, MD. 

Hillen will always be remembered for his sense of humor, unwavering loyalty, and his deep relationship with God and the church. He never met a stranger; his natural ability to bring people together and foster relationships made him invaluable as a loving and supportive father, grandfather, brother, and friend. 

Hillen was preceded in death by both his parents, John and Mildred, sister in-law Wanda Grason, and survived by his son Hillen Grason Jr, daughter-in-law Brittany Grason, step-son Johnathan Northern, siblings; John Grason, J.Wayne Barrett, Sr., Melvin Grason, Millie Grason-Neels, grandchildren; Adalee, Cooper, and Rory Jo, nieces; Beverly Merrithew and Deanna Woehlke and their families, nephews; Wayne Barrett (Laura) and John Grason, Jr. (Kandace) and their children.

Friends and family may visit on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the Stallings Funeral Home where funeral services will begin on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 2:00 pm. Interment private.
