Details: Herbert C. Simms Sr., 80, a resident of Pasadena since 1960 died on November 14, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Simms was born on May 22, 1932 in West Virginia to Sterling and Hazel Simms. Mr. Sims was self-employed welder who helped in the construction of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. He built his own home. He also loved boating and fishing. Preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Elvira C. Simms, a son Herbert C. Simms Jr., and a daughter Karen L. Simms, survived by a daughter Christina Simms of Pasadena, and 5 grandchildren.Friends may call on Friday from 3-5&7-9PM at the Stallings Funeral Home PA where funeral services will be held on Saturday 10AM.
