Henry John Seibert, Jr., 81, resident of Pasadena and formerly of Pennsylvania, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Harbor Hospital.
Mr. Seibert was born September 5, 1940 in Baltimore, MD to the late Henry, Sr. and Mary Seibert. In his younger years, Mr. Seibert worked as a roofer. he then went on to work at the Maryland Dry Dock for 10 years and finally retired from General Electric Warehouse in 2004 after 34 years of service. He was an avid Baltimore Colts and Ravens fan and attended games regularly. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, camping, stock car/modified racing with family and the McLanigan Motorsport, and helping his neighbors. A seasoned traveler, Mr. Seibert visited many places including the Alamo, the Badlands, England, Scotland, the Bahamas, Jamaica, St. Johns, New Bronswick to see the Bay of Fundy, the Outer Banks, Ocracoke, the Grand Canyon, Mt. Rushmore (on family vacation), Sedona and Painted Desert, Crazy Horse Monument, Brice and Zion Canon, Gettysburg, and many more, too many to name!
In addition to his parents, Mr. Seibert is preceded in death by his son David Smeltz. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Marie Balderson-Seibert, and son Allen J. Seibert of Pasadena, MD.
A memorial service will be held on November 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Lighthouse Church, 6691 Baymeadow Drive, Suite 200, Glen Burnie, MD 21060.
