Outside of work, Harry, who went by Tom, was a member of Lake Shore Baptist Church in Pasadena, MD, the United States Navy Memorial, and the Fleet Reserve Club of Annapolis. He was also a past member of the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge where he served as a bartender. In his spare time, he enjoyed coaching youth baseball, bowling, and collecting stamps and coins.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Boggs is preceded in death by his step-mother, Georgia Boggs; beloved wife of 39 years, Barbara Boggs; brother, Marty Boggs; sisters, Carole Chase and Virginia "Ginny" Davis; and grandson, Gregory Boggs.
