Gordon Scott King, 63, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, Maryland died on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Gilchrist Hospice in Columbia, Maryland
He was born on Sunday, December 11th, 1960 in Baltimore, MD to Wiley King and Virginia Anna Mae Kimes. He worked as a mechanic for 60 years. He was very handy and could take a part and put back together almost anything. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, building model cars and going to the racetrack. He was an excellent story teller often times taking a "Minnow" of a story and turning it into a "Whale". He was a very unique and loved person who will be missed by all who knew him.
Mr. King is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Edith Smith and Frank and Catherine Drexler; step-father, Clifton Kimes and step-mother, Joanne King. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Anna Mae Kimes; his father, Wiley King; siblings, Jody Crouse (Emory), Jeffrey A. King, Sr. (Kathy), Charles F. King, Bryan King (Heidi), Deborah Crane (Jason); step sisters and brothers, Elizabeth (Ed) Wheaton, Karen(Tommy)Davis, Carl and Jack Snyder, Cliff Kimes; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends may visit on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Stallings Funeral Home where a memorial service will begin at 7:00 pm. Interment private.
