It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Golda B. Reynolds, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great grandmother and friend, who departed this life on Friday, March 21st, 2025, at the age of 93. Golda was a cherished resident of Pasadena, Maryland, where she spent a lifetime filled with love, family, and community spirit.
Golda was born on Monday, December 14th, 1931, in Maryland, beginning a journey that enriched the lives of all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lutie Giles, her son Georgie Reynolds, her daughter Diane Tolson, and her siblings Frank, Dave, and Helen.
Golda’s career as an Accounts Payable Clerk for Northrup Grumman showcased her dedication and commitment. After her retirement, she continued to thrive while working 15 years at Dollar General in Rivera Beach, where her kindness touched the lives of many.
Her love for life was evident in her many interests. Golda relished taking bus trips, cooking, and playing cards. A dedicated wrestling enthusiast, she never missed watching wrestling shows every Monday and Friday. Her family fondly remembers her 90th birthday when professional wrestlers joined her celebration – a testament to her spirited personality and zest for life.
Golda was the heart of her family, always ornery yet loving, and she delighted in cooking for her loved ones. Her home was always open for visitors, and she was happiest when hosting gatherings filled with laughter and good food.
She is survived by her sons, Mike Reynolds and his wife Diane, and Jeff Reynolds and his wife Donna. Her legacy lives on through her 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, who will always remember their beloved matriarch.
Visitation will take place at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland, on Thursday, March 27th, 2025, with an Afternoon Visitation from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and an Evening Visitation from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Golda’s remarkable life will be held Friday, March 28th, 2025 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place immediately following the funeral service at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
