George Dahle Urban, Jr., 62, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, MD, died on December 12, 2020 at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore.
Mr. Urban was born on October 20, 1958 in Baltimore, MD to Phyllis Schneider and the late George Urban, Sr. He graduated from Northeast High School in the mid-1970s. After graduating, he worked for several different food service companies, including Orson Meats in Brooklyn, 15 years at Sunset Restaurant in Glen Burnie, and CC Meats in Baltimore from the mid-1990s through the 2000s. Most recently, he drove for the United States Postal Service until his illness prevented him from continuing. Outside of work, George was a member of Marley United Methodist Church and was an avid Ravens and Orioles fan.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Urban is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Cheryl L. Urban; brothers, Donald Schneider, Jr. of Pasadena and Joseph Schneider of Virginia; sisters, Linda M. Drager of Pasadena and Tammy A. Sammons of Brooklyn Park; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, December 16 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, MD 21122. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, December 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
