Frieda M. Louk, a beloved homemaker and cherished member of the Hampton, VA community, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20th, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on Tuesday, September 15th, 1936, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Frieda lived a life full of love, dedication, and warmth.
Frieda was the devoted wife of the late Arthur A. Louk and is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Edward Devorick and Helen Devorick (nee Tkacik), as well as her siblings, Paul E. Devorick, Michael Devorick, Charles Devorick, Evelyn Bistransky, and Rose Marie Kostoria. Her legacy continues through her loving family, including her son, Ronald A. Louk and his wife Marnie, her daughter, Barbara Covington and her husband Bob. Frieda was a proud grandmother to: Kristen Moss, Matthew Moss and Emily Rae Louk who will all miss her dearly.
Frieda was known for her passion for puzzles, a pastime that brought her joy and kept her mind sharp. Her gentle spirit and kind heart touched everyone she met, and she will be remembered for her unwavering love and support for her family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
The family kindly requests that donations be made in Frieda's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Hospice of the Chesapeake, should you chose to do so.
Frieda M. Louk will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
