Frank William Bachmann, Jr.

Pasadena, Maryland – Frank William Bachmann Jr., known affectionately to all as "Pop Pop," passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on December 7, 1933, in Annapolis, Maryland, Frank was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. He resided in Pasadena, MD, where he built a life and home filled with love and laughter.

Frank was a devoted and loving husband to his beloved wife, Irene Delores Bachmann for 65 years. Their life together was a testament to true partnership and love. He was the proud father of three children, Dianna Lapier (the late Elwin Stanley), Carolyn Bellinger (Andre, Sr.), and Frank Bachmann, III. His legacy extends to his grandchildren, James (Erin), Sheila, Nicole, Cindy, Andre, Jr., and Emily, and further to his great-grandchildren, Faith, William, Nicholas, and Mason, all of whom he adored. Frank also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank William Bachmann Sr. and Lillian Bachmann, as well as his loving sisters, Elizabeth McCready and Carolyn Burton.

Frank dedicated 38 years of his career to working as a skilled Foreman, where he demonstrated commitment and excellence. His passion for building was evident not only in his professional life but also in the personal satisfaction he derived from constructing his own home. Frank was an honorary member of the Green Haven Fire Department, where he contributed his time and efforts generously.

Known for his easygoing and loving nature, Frank was someone who could enter into a hearty conversation with anyone, anywhere. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his love for travel took him on many adventures.

His family invites friends and loved ones to join in celebrating Frank's life. Afternoon and evening visitations will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. A funeral service will follow on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 11:00 am. Interment will take place immediately following the funeral services at Glen Haven Memorial Park. 

Frank William Bachmann Jr. will be remembered as a man who built not only structures but also enduring relationships and cherished memories. He will be dearly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
