Frances C. Wilkerson, 89, a lifelong resident of Maryland, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 with her family at her side in Berlin, Maryland.
Frances was born October 17, 1934 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Stanley and Ruth Lowman. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Peabody Institute, and the Cochran Architectural firm before beginning a family. In her free time, she enjoyed arts and crafts, especially painting. She was a longtime bowler and in her younger years, was a part of a bowling league at Sandusky's Bowling Alley off of Ft. Smallwood Road. She was also a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. Above all, she loved her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilkerson is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Wilkerson; her two sisters Betty Hardesty and Doris Fishbach; grandson Justin Wilkerson and great grandson Ace Hoffman. She is survived by her children, Jill Glassman (Robert), Randy Wilkerson (Denise), Jeffrey Wilkerson (Dawna); grandchildren Sara Hoffman, Andrew Glassman, Kyle Wilkerson, Cory Wilkerson, Emelyn Wilkerson and great grandchildren, Sadie Hoffman, Moxie Hoffman, Macie Hoffman, Keeleigh Glassman and Grady Glassman.
Friends may call Thursday, February 1st from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122. A memorial service will be held at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church at a later date.
