Frances (Rackensberger) Pressley

Frances Pressley, 87, a 36 year resident of Glen Burnie, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Glen Burnie Health and Rehabilitation Center. 

Mrs. Pressley was born September 23, 1932 in Baltimore, MD to the late William and Sadie Rackensberger. She enjoyed writing and would often write greeting cards for birthdays and special events for her family. She excelled in writing poetry and even had 2 poems published at one point in her life. She loved music and in her younger years enjoyed singing in Choir. She was very active in her Church community at Faith Baptist Church in Glen Burnie. Above all, family was most important to her as she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pressley is preceded in death by her sister Doris. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Densil Pressley, sons Keith Pressley and his wife Jane, James Pressley and his wife Cheryl, grandchildren Christina, Richard, David, Jonathan, Rachel, Elizabeth, James, Taylor and 6 great grandchildren. 

A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 3rd from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Faith Baptist Church, 7378 E Furnace Branch Road, Glen Burnie, MD 21060 where a service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery immediately following funeral services.
