It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Florence Conley, a beloved lifelong resident of Pasadena, Maryland. Florence departed this life peacefully on Thursday, January 9th, 2025, just one day shy of her 95th birthday.
Born in Pasadena on January 10th, 1930, Florence was the cherished daughter of her late parents. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Haskell Conley, as well as her siblings Elaine, Paul, Betty, Janet, Joyce, Alice, Dunk, Gladys, and Pat. Florence devoted her life to her family and home, taking great joy in her role as a homemaker. Her love for baking and the warmth of family gatherings filled her days with happiness and fulfillment. Florence was also a devoted past member of Granite Baptist Church where she dedicated nearly 50 years to the children's ministry, nurturing and guiding countless children with her faith, love, and wisdom.
Florence leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by her two sons, Vernon "Keith" Conley and his wife Kimberly Ann and Merton "Mert" Schulze and his wife Nancy. Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren: Heather Snowden, Merton "Mert" Schulze, Megan Keen, and Vernon "Bud" Conley. She leaves her great-grandchildren: Matt Snowden, Isabelle and Jackson Schulze; Colton Wiggins; Sawyer, Amos, and Jehu Keen; Adeline, Emma, with Wyatt Conley on the way as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Florence's life at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 13th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am, officiated by Joe Keen. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
Florence's spirit and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all she touched. Her life was a testament to the love and care she gave to those close to her, and she will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
