Fatemeh Pirnahan

Fatemeh Pirnahan, 82, a 15 year resident of Baltimore and formerly of Reston, Virginia died on May 22, 2024 at Genesis Hammonds Lane in Brooklyn.

She was born near the beach in Rudsar, Iran on September 28, 1941, one of six children.

Mrs. Pirnahan worked in the civilian section of Fort Meade for 10 years.  In her free time she enjoyed listening to music, swimming at the beach, having picnics, family gatherings, going for walks in the woods, horseback riding, bargain shopping and traveling.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her former husband Mansoor Fard and her granddaughter Shirin Alexander.  She is survived by her children Hideh Shakes, Hamid Ghirvanian-Fard, Houshang Ghirvanian-Fard, and Roksana Jenkins; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at on at Glen Haven Memorial Park 7215 Ritchie Highway Glen Burnie, MD 21061
