Elwood Trapp, Sr., 97, died on January 29, 2021 in Pasadena, MD.
He was born on November 12, 1924 in Phoenix, Maryland to the late Frederick G. and Annie E. Trapp.
Mr. Trapp lived in both North Linthicum, Maryland and Port Charlotte, Florida equally. He owned and operated Trapp Services for over 50 years.
He served honorably in the US Army Corp of Engineers and was a WWII and D-Day Veteran.
Mr. Trapp was a member of the American Legion #110, the Moose, and the Ferndale Community Club.
He enjoyed yard work and he was an avid Orioles and Ravens fan.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years Lena Trapp, his children Dora Atkinson, Patti Dyson, Elwood "Sonny" Trapp, Jr. and his wife Sheila, and Melinda Russell and her husband Tim., his grandchildren; Gail, Janine, Julie, Jodi, Jeff, and Wayne, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Friends may visit on Friday (February 5th) from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A. Funeral services and interment are private but will be live streamed at the bottom of this obituary page and on Stallings Funeral Home's Facebook page (click HERE).
