Elizabeth M. Kammerer, a loving homemaker and cherished member of the Pasadena, MD community for over two decades, peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 8th, 2024, at the age of 94. Born on Monday, June 23rd, 1930, in Baltimore, Maryland, Elizabeth spent many joyful years in Glen Burnie, MD before making her home in Pasadena.
Elizabeth is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Bonnie Lhamon, and son, Charles E. Kammerer Jr.. She leaves behind her brother, Howard Granger, and is survived by her adoring grandchildren: Shannon Hackmann, Heather Tatone, and Jason Lhamon. Her legacy continues through her cherished great-grandchildren: Ashley Hackmann, Jocelyn Hackmann, Carson Speargas, Bradley Tatone, and Dylan Tatone.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Ellsworth Kammerer, her parents, Howard and Mary Granger, her brother Howard Granger, Jr. and her sister, Edith Volrath.
Elizabeth was a devoted homemaker, dedicating her life to caring for her family with unwavering love and exceptional talent. She had a passion for baking, especially in her younger years, and delighted in making Christmas cookies and candy to share with family and friends. Her culinary skills were matched by her enthusiasm for collecting pigs, a hobby that brought her immense joy.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12th, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Elizabeth’s life will follow at 1:00 pm at the same location. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park
