Eleanor Esther Thompson, born June 10, 1931 to the late William and Esther Miller passed away on August 25, 2020. Most of her life was spent in Anne Arundel County but most recently in Caroline and Queen Annes Counties.
Mrs. Thompson worked in retail for many years. She most enjoyed being a mother, grand parent and homemaker . She cherished family time.
Eleanor was an avid traveler. She traveled all over the United states, including Alaska and Hawaii. Some if her cruise travel included Mexico, Puerto Rico, Haiti, st. Thomas and the Virgin Islands.
Eleanor's hobby was to collect old movies and photos of her favorite western stars. Some of her favorites were Gene Autry, Roy Rodgers, Tom Mix and John Wayne.
Eleanor Thompson was preceded in death by her husbands Harry Schoolden and Edward Thompson, her daughter Esther (Cookie), her son William (Billy), her sister Gloria and brother Charles. She is survived by her daughters, l. Jean Schoolden Callis and son in law Calvin Callis, Denise Schoolden Curtis and partner George Gregor,, and her son Terry Thompson. Mrs. Thompson is survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grand children, Christopher, Matthew, Megan, Will jr.,Christina, Damon, Calvin, Virginia, Mason, Maylie and Griffin.
Friends may call Thursday, August 27th from 6-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a service will be held Friday, August 28th at 11:00 am. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park. Please be aware that, due to county-mandated COVID-19 restrictions, Stallings Funeral Home is only allowing 35 people in the building at a time and face coverings must be worn while inside.
