Elaine M. Harris, 99, a resident of Maryland for 78 years and formerly of New York, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024 in her home.
Mrs. Harris was born September 24, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Vincent and Susan Bellizzi.
Mrs. Harris was a dedicated homemaker who held various types of jobs throughout her life. She was a very active volunteer at Baltimore Washington Medical Center where she spent countless hours helping others. She was also a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and loved the Lord. Her family referenced her as an "AVID" shopper who also enjoyed traveling anywhere that wasn't home, going on cruises, driving and enjoying her independence. She was the type of woman who was always on the go and would love to go anywhere with anyone at any time. She was described as being vibrant and a person who lived her life to the absolute fullest. She always found a way to be joyful, even when her heart was heavy. Above anything, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and all the pets that came with them. She will be greatly missed.
