Edwin Thomas Calvert, 95, a resident of Anne Arundel County passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center under Hospice Care
Mr. Calvert was born July 16, 1926 in Pasadena, MD to the late Charles and Annie Calvert. Mr. Calvert was born and raised in Pasadena, MD moving to Pennsylvania in 1968 where he lived until 2015 when he moved back to Anne Arundel County. Mr. Calvert received his bachelors degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1966.
He was a member of Pasadena United Methodist Church. He enjoyed genealogy, farming and carving birds out of wood. He also was a member of Hancock's Resolution Foundation.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Calvert is preceded in death by his wife, Lauretta Marie Calvert and 5 siblings. He is survived by his children Thomas Edwin Calvert and his wife Kathy, Betty Ann Blanchard and her husband Bill, William Scott Calvert and his wife Kim, Marie Hope Calvert McKee, sister Ruth Twigg, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Friends may call Thursday, December 2nd from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a service will be held Friday, December 3rd at 2:00 pm. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park immediately following the funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hancock Resolution Foundation made to Bill Blanchard, President of FOHR, 247 Old Magothy Bridge Road, Pasadena, MD 21122.
