Edward August Wolf, Jr., 82, a 4 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Woodlawn, MD, died on August 31, 2021 at the Birch Manor Healthcare Center.
Mr. Wolf was born on August 22, 1939 in Baltimore County, MD to the late Edward Sr. and Sarah Wolf. From 1957 to 1963, he served honorably in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He eventually began a long and successful career with the Baltimore County Revenue Authority where he served as the head landscaper for the Diamond Ridge Golf Course. Edward retired from there in the early 2000s after 20 years of service. Outside of work, Mr. Wolf enjoyed woodworking, watching NASCAR, shopping at flea markets, and eating crabs. He will be remembered as a very compassionate, caring person - especially towards the elderly and those in need.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wolf is preceded in death by his son, Robert Wolf, and sister, Shirley "Tootie" Allenbaugh. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Linda Wolf; sons, John Wolf of Finksburg and Mark "Pete" Wolf of Hagerstown; daughters, Candy Novonty of Annapolis and Melissa Weiss of Hanover, PA; step-son, Alan Bumpus; step-daughter, Gail Hopf of Pasadena; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
The funeral services at the funeral home will be private, but family and friends are invited attend the graveside service on Friday, September 3 at 1:00 p.m. at Ward's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 11023 Liberty Rd, Randallstown, MD 21133. The funeral service will also be livestreamed on Stallings Funeral Home's Facebook page (click HERE) and at the bottom of the obituary page on Friday, September 3 at 11:30 a.m.
During the service at the funeral home, the family requests that all those in attendance wear face coverings and practice social distancing in an effort to keep everyone healthy and safe.
